Yes, as interes ting as things are on the race track side o f the fen ce, there's plenty going on outside, too . These road bi kes may not be qui te' as exo tic or expensive at their race track bre thren, but the machines that popu late the parking lots at major racing e vents are as interes ting in their ow n real-wor ld way as the racers' machines are in their realm . Armed with a notepad, contributor Larry Langley wandered about at the recent Laguna Seea World Superbike round and turned his camera on some of the people wh o made the trek to the Mon terey to witness the single World Championship road race America will host this year.
