Martin Craggill (2), Mark Willis (68) and Troy Bayliss race side by side during the third round of the Shell Australian Superbike Series, held at Winton Raceway in Victoria on May 18. The race also marked the competition debut of the Hunwick-Hallam X1R Superbike, in the hands of veteran Malcolm Campbell. Unfortunately, Campbell crashed in the first corner of the first race while avoiding another rider. and the machine had mechanical problems in race two.
