"I used the race as practice, really,
and tried different lines and found new
things," Corser said. '1 was on my own
for a lot, but when I caught Anthony
(Gobert) I thought we might have a
good race, but I puHed away quite
quickly."
Gobert was also in survival mode in
his first Grand Prix after an extended
recovery from a broken collarbone. He
rode sensibly, not taking any risks, and
not sho.wing the spectacular form he
showed on the Muzzy Kawasaki Superbfre.
"I started sliding the bike more
toward the end, which I haven't done at
all so far this weekend," Gobert said.
"That's more my style of riding and I
