face a challenge from a charging Maturo.

KTM-mounted Daniel Tesh edged out Suzuki pilots Charley Keplinger and Brad Edwards
in the UnlimHed Amateur bout. Tesh won the
first moto and Keplinger the second, but it was
Tesh's 1-2 prevailing over Kepljnger's 3-1,
Tesh also handled Edwards and Keplinger in
250cc B class, winning both motos.
Team Green's Jeff Gibson took on both the
Schoolboy and 125cc B classes and carne away a
four-moto winner.

Ryan Dickson, who with 14, had half the

Latimer was a close third.
The same 14- vs. 28-point finish
could be found in Premier Lightweight
Novice, where Don Kelley, riding a borrowed Triumph Cub, defeated Roger
Brophy'S Greeves. Behind Brophy, Bob
Bergener was third with 33 points lost.

on to finish second behind Montoya, with
Graves rounding out the top three.

The 500 Modified Production race saw Alan
Burtt take the hole hot off the line but he was
quickly passed by Jeremy Toye and Jason Milloy. Rounding tum eight near the completion of
lap three, Roger Baker powered his way around
Milloy into second. By the halfway point, Toye
had separated himself from the rest of the field
and went on to an easy victory, leaving Baker to
finish second and Milloy third.

Steve Leivan began his quest for a fifth Missouri

Hills. The Missouri Mudders laid out a challenging 12-mile course in St. Joe State Park that
became even more demanding due to moming

Many of the front-runners stopped for goggles or gloves after the first lap, mixing up the
order somewhat. Graber kept his Honda in the
lead for several miles until getting hung up
momentadly on one of the uphills, Leivan
seized the opportunity· and inherited the lead
once more. His lead at the end of the second lap
would measure 25 seconds over Busenbark.
