Ginder, AHRMA's national trials coordinator, won the PrenUer Lightweight Expert class, losing three points on his '67 Greeves two-stroke to the five points logged by Dave Mankey on a '62 BSA B40. In the Premier Lightweight Novice division, Randolph Stoike rode an error-free trial on a '66 BSA. Two other riders turned in perfect scores for the day - Larry Nordman anq Duwayne Connolly, both on Bultaco 250s in Modern Classic Novice. In such a situation, the win goes to the older rider, and so the victory was Nordman's. The Modern Classic Expert winner by a big margin was Bill Blythe, who dabbed once on the first loop and took three on the second lap on his '70 Bultaco Sherpa T 250.
