win, but Antunez kept him at bay. Palmer was third with Nielson Enterprises, Brad Woolsey placing fourth ahead of Yamaha of Troy's Todd DeHoop. SATURDAY Another sold-out crowd braved the sub zero weather to see reigning series champion Jimmy Gaddis put his Thor/Kawasaki Team Green entry in the winner's circle for the first time this season. Gaddis' teammate Shawn Morgan jumped out to the early lead, but Gaddis looked like a man on a mission. Even so, he bided his time before finally taking over the lead from Woolsey on lap 12 of 16 and not looking back. Morgan stayed glued to Gaddis' rear wheel for the remainder of the race to give Team Green a rare 1-2. Antunez fought his way through traffic and challenged Morgan briefly before bobbling and falling into a sure third place at the line. Buell led Stephenson home as they carded fourth and fifth place, respectively. When the gate dropped for the final 250cc main event, Antunez leaped out ahead of Stephenson and was never headed. Woolsey ran third, followed by Gaddis, who was the only rider to make a move, passing Woolsey on lap two before bobbling and losing more ground than he'd just made. Woolsey seized the opportunity to make a run at Stephenson for second place. But Stephenson felt Woolsey's presence and picked up the pace. As the white flag lap waved, Antunez stole a quick glance over his shoulder to check things out only to find that his lead had been cut down to only a couple of bike lengths. His pursuers ran out of time, however, and Antunez crossed the line for the last of his three victories over the weekend. Stephenson, Woolsey, Palmer and Gaddis rounded out the top five.
