A heightened sense of intrigue and exdtement permea tes the races as new faces have begun to infiltra te the top spots on the podium for the first time in nearly four years. The latest crop of 250s and the riders contracted to ride them are more closely matched than ever. Seemingly, 10 riders have a shot at the win when the gate drops, with much depending on the outcome of the drag race to .the first corner. . A trip through the pits at the first two rounds of the AMA Supercross Series at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum revealed the ~atest team color schemes, and the latest in factory and privateer bike technology.
