laps and the race for second was getting hot.
Jeremy Mdntyre. recovered from a poor start
and passed Park and Womble to race in second.
Lundeen tried to sneak away, but McIntyre kept
him insight.
Park worked on Womble and made the pass
for third on the right-hand sweeper after the
restart turn on lap three. McIntyre got a Little
closer to Lundeen and Park pulled away from a
fading Womble. James Griffith was on the gas
and set his sights on Womble.
Mcintyre had Lundeen looking over his
shoulder on ille white-flag lap as the two leaders
caught up to Lappers. Griffith was very close to
Womble but bobbled on the start-tum sweeper.
Lundeen held the Lead past the checkers with
Mcintyre close behind. Park had a secure third.
Griffith passed Womble just before the finish to
take fourth.
In moto two, McIntyre nailed a major
holeshot and roosted to a big lead by the end of
lap one. Griffith, Greg Garrison and Travis
Osterhout fought over second. As the race progressed, McIntyre rode like his hair was on fire.
Griffith had second secured while Lundeen
charged by Garrison and Osterhout. Mcintyre
was catching up tQ lappers by lap four. Lundeen
came close to Griffith on the last lap, but Griffith
picked up the pace and crossed the finish line in
second.
Racers were met with a pleasant surprise
when they arrived at the gate: Their entry was
free, courtesy of the Nevada Old Timers. Today
was race five of the six-roWld SandMaster n
Series and set a new record of 256 entries.
