ARST KID ON THE BLOCK As you may have heard, FMF had a 1997 Honda CR250 before anyone in the coun try (except for American Honda) and started developing products early on. FLATTOPS ARE BACK Wiseco Pistons has just released its ProLite Flat-Top, Single-Rilfg Pistons for the current crop of 250s. The pistons are 50 grams lighter than stock with the ring, wrist pin and circlips included. The flat-top piston, like the one being used on the 1997 Honda CR250, allows your motor builder the ability to shape your head exactly the way you want for high revs and noticeable power increases. Head modifications need to be done on all brands except the CR250. RESERVOIR WAR Berg Racing is upping the ante in the braking department by i.ntroducing the Beroma/Dogtown Braking Systems aluminum rear brake reservoir for Kawasakis. CNC-machined from billet 6061 aluminum, they are lighter and stronger than OEM plastic units. The unit has a greater-volume brake-fluid capacity and features a built-in brakefluid-control device that is said to increase brake sensitivity.
