Culver made it look easy in the' first molo by grabbing the lead on the opening lap and running away. Deuce Rutledge ran second for a couple of laps before Luke Orr pushed him back to third. Ryan Baxendale and Chaz Smith as well hooked up together to get around Rutledge midway through the race while having a good baltle for third. Culver took the win over Orr, who actually was gaining ground but ran out of time. Baxendale and Smith were all over each other with Baxendale gelling the nod for third. Collin Baumgard came back from a first-turn crash for sixth behind Rutledge. Moto two had Culver, Baxendale and Orr arguing over the lead until Baxendale and Orr collided in the whoops and both ended up on the ground. Smith gladly accepted second place and quickly closed to Culver's rear wheel. Smith played nemesis for the entire molo as he shadowed Culver's every move in an altemptto get the lead. Culver kept Smith at bay for the hard-fought win. Steven Harbison kept the leader in sight to cross the finish thiid. Orr fought back to take fourth and third overall. Brett Allen was awesome in the first Vet Novice moto, taking the checkers with 20 seconds to spare over Darrell Sanders. Kennedy sliced his way from a 10th-place start for third over Ed Bustillos and Mike DeStefano. Bruce Richard's second-moto lead lasted a lap before Kennedy ouljumped him 10 gain control. Kennedy tried to disappear, but David Williams was able to match his pace in second and keep him honest all the way to the checkers.· Richards and Bustillos took the battle for third all the way to the finish, with Richards just holding him off. Sanders came from midpack for fifth and third in the final standings, Am Entry YWHA of REDLANDS HYRRACING ~ ONEAL RA.CING What's at the leading edge of motorcycle news? Cycle News Online!
