It appears as though young Jamie Hacking will replace Jason Pridmore on the
Kinko's Kawasaki team, joining incumbent Thomas Stevens in the two-man
team. Hacking raced Suzukis in the
North American Sport Bike Series in
1996. The pair will compete only in the
600cc Supersport Series.
A fund raiser was held for injured road
racer Scott Zampach November 16 in
Milwaukee with over $12,000 being
raised for the multi-time AMA HarleyDavidson TwinSport Champion.
Numerous items were auctioned,
including several that were autographed
by Willie G. Davidson, Scott Parker and
Bill Werner. The highest-bid item was a
Harley-Davidson banner signed "Ride
Free, Willie G," which sold for $500.
To commemorate 20 years of AMA
Superbike racing, the AMA is now offering a limited-edition print by noted
motorcycle illustrator Hector Cademartori. Depicted in the artwork is 1976
AMA Superbike Champion Reg Pridmore and 1995 champ Miguel
DuHamel. Only 200 of the full-color, 22by-28-inch prints will be made available
and each print is signed by the artist. In
addition to the images of Pridmore and
DuHamel, the name of every AMA
Superbike Champion is listed. The
prints are available for $120 plus $5 for
shipping and handling with the proceeds to benefit the American Motorcycle Heritage Museum at the AMA headquarters in Westerville, Ohio. To order,

The American Trials Association

de Espana will be held on April 19-20 at
