The 125cc class has two divisions, the eastern and western, and provisions have been made to ef)sure an equal amount of races will be held in each division. The alignment revision will result in an improved advancement system for Pro-Am riders by equalizing opportunities to gather advancement points. The advancement system was created to provide riders with an organized method of advancing to the premier racing class of Supercross, the 250cc class. . The highlight of this revised alignment will bring back the popular 125cc Shoot-Out during the series finale, which will be held at the new Las Vegas Motor Speedway on _ May 17. The Shoot-Out will provide, for the only time all season, the opportunity for riders from both the eastern and western divisions to square off and race for valuable season-ending points. The 125cc class has traditionally served as a launching pad to the 250cc class, and this realignment should strengthen the racing experience for all 125cc class riders. ~ Ylm1lf ~ Date January 11 January 18 January 25 February 1 February 15 February 22 March 8 March 15 March 22 March 29 April 5 April 12 April 19 April 26 May 17 Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles, CA Tempe, AZ Seattle, WA Indianapolis, IN Atlanta, GA .
