Hart did have an auspicious day, placing
second in the 750cc Supersport, the 600cc Supersport, and the 750cc Superbike, finally taking a
win in the YSR class. Running against Hart In
the YSR class was Dan Duncalf and Tom Shanley.
Shanley got the holeshot, but Hart was ready
to pounce at turn two and blew by Shanley at
the head of Crazy Iv;m. Duncalf also got on the
drive and overtook Shanley on the first lap.
From the outset it looked as though there might
have been a battle between Hart and Duncalf,
but gradually Hart's skill and knowledge of the
track served him well as he finished with a win
by a broad margin.
