The fourth-place finishing team was
the Czech Republic, followed by France,
Slovakia, Sweden, etherland~, Germany and Australia.
Leading the American force was
Davis who, despite getting off to a lackluster start on day one, which would
dearly cost him in the long run, fought
tooth and nail with Great Britain's Paul
Edmondson and Sala an week long,
twice finishing second in the day's
overall results column. He never could
quite outdo Sala, who topped the charts
four out of the six days, but Davis did
keep him looking over his shoulder
most of the way. Silvan scored the day's
win on Tuesday (day two), while
Edmondson turned in the quickest time
of the day (Saturday) in the final MX
special test.

Davis was, for the third time in his
career, dubbed "Top American" in Finland. He also finished fourth overall
