ASIA REGION RELD SERVICE
ENGINEER(fRAINER
2 Year; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Singapore-Based Contract Position. We are loolting for ahigh-spirited,
mechanically-talented technician with 5+ years of actual H-D experience repairing/maintaining Evolution
1340cc and XL models, 2-3 years of providing technical iostruction and training for individuals and groups;
including service department management with active responsibility of implementing service systems and
processes. We will rely on the selected candidate to provide Asian dealers with direct, on-site guidance,
training and support offunctional mechanics and technical staff with the goal ofbuildin~ up the dealership's
technical service capabilities. Extensive travel to all Asian dealers required. Yau will reside approximately
two weeks in each location before moving on to the next location. Dealer countries include: Singapore,
Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Indonesia, occasionally Japan and possibly Australia.
Relocation and travel expenses will only be covered for one individual. Additional position requiremenlS
include: H-D PhD course panicipation,technicaUvocation course completion, strong interpersonal communication skills, patience, mental and physical stamina, ·tolerance of ambiguity, understanding of cultural
differences, Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent, positive outlook, and the ability to teach and
motivate dealer staff and studenlS. Proficiency in a second language (Chinese, Malay, Thai, Indonesian,
Korean) and technical training/instructor's certificate desirable.
