Due to growing intemalional demand, we have the following opportunity: CaIondot~ ...... ASIA REGION flEID SERVICE ENGINEER(fRAINER 2 Year, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Singapore-Based Contract Position. We are looking for ahigh-spirited, mechanically-ialeoted technician with 5+ years of actual H-D experience repairinglmaintaining Evolution l340cc and XL models, 2-3 years of providing technical instlUCtion and training for individuals and groups; including service department management with active responsibility of implementing service systems and processes. We will rely on the selected candidate to provide Asian dealers with direct, on-site guidance, training and support of functional mechanics and technical staffwith the goal of building up the dealership's technical service capabilities. Extensive travel to all Asian dealers required. You will reside approximately lWO weeks in each location before moving on to the next location. Dealer countries include: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Indonesia, occasionally Japan and possibly Australia. Relocation and travel expenses will only be covered for one individual. Additional position requirements include: H-D PhD course participation, technicaVvocation course completion, slrong interpersonal communication skills, patience, mental and physical stamina, tolerance of ambiguity, understanding of cultural differences, Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalen~ positive outlook, and the ability to teach and motivate dealer staff and studenls. Proficiency in a second language (Chinese, Malay, Thai, Indonesian, Korcan) and technical traininglinstructor's certificate desirable.
