to reel in Ly tle on the downhill a nd
make the pass for the lead .

Back in the field, Nelson overcame a
terri ble start and was able to take over
the third slot. Because of his poor finish
in the first moto Nelson finish ed the day
in fourth.
In the highly competitive 250cc Intermediate class, NCY's Tim Beatty took
the ove ra ll with 1-2 moto finishes .
Shawn Ellis won the second moto from
sta rt to finish, bu t because of a poor fin- .
ish in the first race he had to settle for
second ..
