Jeff Emig arrived
knowing he needed to ride
- consistently to win the High Point National. The Team Kawasaki
rider did just that, riding solidly in both heats to collect the
overall. Mount Morris is a notoriously challenging course, and
competition was tough as all the top pros were vying for better
positions in this still-young Motocross season, but Emig rode
two smart, steady races and withstood the efforts of the other
competitors, riding his KX250 to victory in this fourth race of
the outdoor series. It looks like Jeff can win anywhere.
