Carter took a first, second and third ove rall at Dani el Boone M otocross Park o n Kawasaki /Yamaha of Mid dlesbo ro Day . Carter h a m m ered the lead as Ryan Sipes kept hi m on hi s toes until two laps from the checke red when Sipes lost con tro l of hi s machine to d rop to 12th a t the finish . Ca rter took the earl y lead as Sipe s moved int o second off the starting gate. The pair pla yed cha se a round th e fun -fi lled yet chall enging course. Sipes staye d on Ca rter' s heels and at timc~ th e po:tir rode in unison with Carter con tin- ually outmaneuvering Sipes. The heat was taken off Cartt!'r' aft er Sipes c ras h e d . Cart er then breezed to th e win with Devon Hedrick a di stant second. In th e second moto, Ca rter did not fa re as well as he finished sixth with Sipes recovering to take th e moto ' win. Hedrick w as the overa ll mot o winner as he filed by for another seco nd. Carter then returned to go 1-1 for the overall in the SScc Senior class and finished second in the Schoolboy with a 2-2 score. H was no contest after the first tum in moto one of the 125cc A class, as Keith Bow en took the lead to cruise to win. Bowen also aced moto two for the overa ll h onors. Bowen retumt.~ in the 2SOcc A to tally a perfect score in that d ass.. Travis WiL-.or\, rid ing for the first time in the 125cc C clas s, wa s first around tum one in the fir st moto. Chad Burba quickl y overpowered Wilson. and Marty Adams also managed to get by. Adams slid down allowing Wilson to recov er the runner-up s p o t momentarily bldore Michael Martin moved thr ough the pack to take seco nd. As Burba had a commanding lead , the battl e for second heated up as Mar t in and Ada ms jockeyed for the same position.
