mina . The section ended with an MX track
through piles of sand and leaves, and the
final checkout, a known control. As
expected, scores through this section
decided the outcome of the race. Going a
day's best 6-8 through the two checks,
Spence easily overcame his one-point
deficit entering the section and earned the
overall crown with a 20 card. Jack Lafferty
Jr. went 7-10through the section, and coupled with the solid morning effort earne d
him the seco nd ove ra ll slot; 22 points

said he was pleased with the section; bu t
added, "It was a lot harder than I expected ." Richard Lafferty and WER's Drew

have these kind of sections in European

longer. " Rounding out the top five overall
was Tricounty's Craig Cossaboon with a
34/418 score , ed gin g HPA runner -up

event's new, tough section. However,

best, saying, "The enduro was a wellrounded test, using extremely high-speed
sections in the first two loops and an
extremely low-speed test in the final A
section - it was a fair challenge."
