Ran dy Skinner, in his first Handicap Main, was
on the ten . Skinner went down on the first tum
a n d Lu ce ro fell to avoid hit tin g him . On th e
res ta rt Taylor got the ju mp with Furman and
Ad e n close behind. Hi cks w as on the mo ve
an d by lap five had taken the lead. With six
laps left Oxley had pu t himself wi th in strikin g
d is tance of Hicks. With one la p to go , Hicks
wen t on the defensi ve, closing do wn the ins id e
line on Oxley. Th e win was his. Oxley was a
so lid second and Lucero got by McConnell for
the thi rd .

Dwayn e King is goi ng to be ha rd to beat this
season if the motor continu es to run as hard as it
has the past two weeks . They totally dominated
the Sideca r main, running off an d lea vin g the
res t of the field.

Bragg blasts Orlando MX

Mike Bragg p owered hi s CR500 to a double
moto sweep of the 250/5OOcc B class at the sixth
rou n d of th e Sunshin e Sta te Championship
Series held at Orlando Motocross Park.
In the first rnot o, Bragg jumped ou t to the
early lead with Tra vis Willis, Marcus Pedreo, Jay
Tay lor and Jeff Neilander following. Pedreo and
Taylor slipped by Willis in the secon d comer to
move into second and thi rd place. Bragg started
to o pen up a lead over Pedreo as Neilander
passed Willis for the fourth spo t. Pedreo then
fell as Taylor moved b y . Pedreo q u ickly
rem ounted and charged back by Taylor within
the sa me lap. Bragg held on for the ea sy win
over Pe d reo, Taylor, Neil and e r a nd Derrick
Januszky.
Bragg once again u s ed hi s 50 0 to sl ice
through the th ick sa nd to grab the ho leshot in
race two . Ped reo, Willis. Taylor and Neilander
gave chase. Tay lor and Ne ilander mot ored by
W illis on the ope n ing circ u it as Bragg slow ly
inched awa y. Pedreo tried to keep Bragg in sight
bu t fell just as he reached his rear fender. With
Pe d reo do wn. Tay lo r an d Neila nd er motored
by . Januszyk was on the move after a poor start
as he flew by Willis and Pedreo to ru n in the
fourth spot. Whe n the checkered flag came out,
. Bragg enjoyed a huge lead over Taylor, Neilander, Jan uszyk an d Pedreo.
