On ce I was clear of him I sett led down to my normal race plan of regular lap times for the entire 45 minutes." Bervoets' lead lasted just 10 minutes before Vo h la n d cam e p ast, but the American could not maintain the point for long, eithe r. "I was the fastes t," said Vohland. "I could see that.
