AMA National Enduro champion Ty Davis is used to riding in the lead. And that's exactly where he was during the opening AMA Hare and Hound Championship event at Lucerne Valley. Dry conditions forced all other riders to eat their weight . in dust as they followed Ty's Kawasaki KX 500 around two 40-mile desert loops.
