Liz Sai llan t received th e Spoke Awa rd , which is given to a non-office r district member. She is heav ily invo lved in flat track racing, and her husband Ken gives it his all as a flat track promoter. "She ,can handle our five kids and pu t up wi th me, along with keep ing the paper work in orde r," Ken said . "She is the bes t wife [ cou ld ask for." The Kick Start Award goes to a board member con tributing the most and going beyond the call of duty. This year it went to judy jon es, the dis trict secretary. ju dy had some health problem s th is year, b ut still kept foc us ed on her du ties. Connie Feist won the Iron Man awa rd, whil e Sports ma nship awards went to Scott Petty, Cloyce Brinkerho ff, jo hn Baker , Kevin Hilbert and Lon Walters.
