In the 250cc Junior class, Craig Monty was on fire. Mon ty won both moto s in star t-to-fin ish fas hion . In mo to one, Mon ty was up front and had Jeremiah Brawer, David Hopfe and Jason Lowther trailing close du rin g the opening lap s, but they were no match for him. Brawer ran into trou ble during the second lap and was not abl e to fin ish th e mot o. Hopfe an d Lowther took over seco nd and third and ended up finishing in the same order. In moto tw o, Mon ty was aga in th e lead er fo llo we d by Ch ri s Finl ey and Hopfe. Hopfe was able to take over second early in the moto, but Finley stayed close and ret ook second with time to spa re. When the race was over, Monty cruised in for the win followed by Finley and Hopfe. Hopfe was able to take second-place honors for the day. In other race action, Buck Gulley took the win in the 80cc Beginner class over Richard Owe ns and Nicolas Burnson.
