and a better show for the fans. Ask any
of the record-setti ng 58,88 2 fans w ho
w er e o n h a nd at the Mi n nea polis
Metro do me and they' ll likely agree tha t
the racing was indeed some of the best
ever seen inside the climate-controlled
stadi um, but u n fortun at ely the ba ttles
th at thrilled the fans were for second,
third and fourth places.
Give hi m a ju mp-laden, technical
track, or a flatter, simpler track, and Jeremy McGrath will adapt.
It makes no difference.
Just like last week at Orlando, the
three-time Supercross Champion moved
to the head of the pack on the second lap
and easily outdistanced the rest as he
put his admirable supercross skills to
w o r k . Thus far in to the 1996 series
• McGrath is two for two, and there aren't
. • very many - if at all - who are willing to
bet that the California n wo n't win what
I~ wo u ld be his recor d-setting fourth con,
~ secutive title.
