Suzuki of Paris an d form er Nation al Hare Scrambles Champion Tony Hend on had to fi gh t o ff th e adva nc es of Kawasa ki rider Bryan Adams in the ea rly stages of the race in the Vet A class, but Hendon came on strong at the end to take the win . Scott Martin finished a close third. Steve Ezell led early on, but Jared Smith came on strong at the end for the win in the 250cc A class . Todd Wilson en ded up second on a Yam aha, while Ezell dropped back to third at the finish . Kawasa ki rider Robert Lick slid past series rival Chris Beard when Beard tangled with a lap rider on the las t lap in the Op en B class. Lick went on to win, while Roger Hen don, Ton y Hendon's older brother an d a seasoned veteran, kept the pace to claim third. Cod y Maxwell bounced back from a lackluster performance in round five to take top honors in the Four-Stroke class on his Kawasaki KLX. Phillip Barker kept him hon est, coming in just 20 seconds off the pace . John Broughton put in yet an other good ride on his Honda CR in the Vet B class to extend his winning streak to six. Robert Adkins took second . In the 200cc A class, Mich ael Saunders pu t in yet anoth er stellar p erformance on his KDX to keep his perfect reco rd int act. Darin Phillips bounced back from a dism al outing at rou nd five to take a r es pectabl e se cond o n his Kawasa ki. Reigning Super Sen ior cha mp, John Giles powered his Yamaha to the number-one spo t, as series rival Guy Anderson kep t pace for second. Jaso n Di ck e y p u t h is Su zu ki o u t front early on in the Heavy Trail class and held on for th e w in. Series rival Ricky Whitely sta yed close but couldn't rna ke th e pass for s econd on his Kawasa ki. Clint Robinson and Ron Skipper continued th eir se rie s-lo n g b at tl e in the 200cc B class wi th Robins on taking the w in and Skipper coming in second . In Sen ior action, Pau l Michels came back from a slow sta rt to garner top hono rs. Dave Scottov put on a late race charge of his own to sneak past Ronni e Hackett in the late ·stages of the race.
