every lap. effectively blocking Yezek from every
opportunity to pass on the tight Ag Center circuit.
Saturday's 250cc A main saw Yezek oot
front, with Neese pressuring from the start. Just
as Neese was making his move for the lead. his
Honda's chain came off, leaving him motionless
as the field roared past. Yezek cruised to the
win. foUowed by Jim Chester. Malt shue, Katin
and Patrick Slate.
sunday's 12Scc A main featured a dogfight
among Yezek, Neese and Nathan Ramsey.
Although Yezek maintained the point position
for the whole 14 laps. Neese and Ramsey were
only a fraction of a second behind him. Late in
the race, Ramsey surprised Neese to take over
second~ leaving Neese. Chester and Trent
Hansen to round out the top five.
.
Katin pulled off sunday's 250cc A main
holeshot and fended off. all challenges from
Yezek and then Neese. who gated third and
stayed close to Yezek in search of an opening.
None developed. so Neese simply took an unexpected line in one of the turns. and shot around
Yezek into second. Chester and Ramsey followed Yezek to the £lag.
