The covers are manufactured of a carbon-fiber woven material and feature an electrically non-conductive inner liner. Berg says that the covers are onethird lighter than stock units, yet stronger and better in structural design. They are guarante~d not to warp and will not corrode, thus preventing any water, cUrt or debris from entering the electronic assembly or causing premature wear of the crank seals.
