Sure, the San Diego Antique Motorcycle Club-hosted extravaganza, which carried the theme" A Salute to the .American Motorcycle," was as impressive as in years past. The event drew some 15,000 spectators and approximately 700 motorcycle show entries to the palatial Del Mar Fairgrounds to relive the days of old, with the show portion drawing the cream of the crop in vintage motorcyles to undergo rigorous examination by the judging panel in search of that one motorcycle in each of the several classes that stood apart from the rest.
