Okada, also stiff and sore, fended off Jurgen Fuchs's RS Honda, finishing two seconds ahead at the finish. Then came Jurgen van der Goorbergh another two seconds back in ninth. He'd moved up gradually, still with front-end sliding problems, but profiting from the problems of others. First, 'chasing Fuchs, he'd caught a group including Okada, Haruchika Aoki, Luis d'Antin and Patrick van der Goorbergh. Okada escaped but Aoki crashed. Then Patrick dropped right back after outbraking himself, shortly afterwards pitting with a sparking plug failed, his chances over. Then Fuchs passed d'Antin, just as he had engine trouble. Locatelli was another four seconds back, followed by Niall Mackenzie, the troubled d' Antin, Wild Card Porco and Regis Laconi, with Takeshi Tsujimura's FCC Honda taking the last point. There were 20 finishers. Biaggi is of course champion on 258 points; Harada has 200 to Waldmann's 187 in the dispute for second; then come Okada on 127, Ruggia's 112, Aoki's 95, Romboni and d'Antin's 76, Roberts Jr's. 71, with Jacque moving ahead of Jurgen with 59 points to 48. 125cc GRAND PRIX Tokudome made all the early running, but both Sakata and AI zamora were in close attendance, and the Spaniard took over after seven laps. After 10 laps he was gradually drawing ahead, and the race for first was over. Sakata had dropped back by then, his silencer broken. "It was pointless to continue:~ he said. This left Tokudome alone in second for a while - but he almost threw it away. Trying for the lap record on the last lap, he ran off the track down an escape road. He rejoined just as the next gang arrived, and saved the place by just two tenths. Raudies was delighted with third, five weeks after breaking his pelvis in Bmo. He had Akira Saitoh (Docshop Honda), Oliver Koch (Ditter Plastic Aprilia) and Herri Torrontegui (Pit Lane Honda) tucked hard up behirni, with Peter Oettl a brave seventh a little way back, fighting pain from his broken arm. Jorge Martinez (Cepsa Yamaha) led the next group of five across the line. Stefano Perugini also retired, complaining of 'a shortage of power. Yamamoto, who finished 11th on his Moto Bum Honda, took the lap record. New champion Harachuki Aoki was a relaxed 14th. Aoki now has 199 points, Sakata 127 to Saito's 118; with Raudies on 113.5, Perugini on 112, and Alzamora =1~. n Municipal Autodrome Oscar Galvez Buenos Aires, Argentina Results: September 24, 1995 USee QUALrFYING: 1.
