got out of.shape and finished mid pack. With
Waite's demise, second place went to Kyle Bunger
while Cody Thompson was third. Holden also
added the Schoolboy·dass win to his tally.
Honda-mounted Dan Adkins pulJed off a

same as it has been all season long. No other
rider in recent years hs been as dominant as
Stanley.
Stanley won one of the three Expert heats
followed by Eric Rickman and Lonny Kopp. Jeff
Annen, Del Schnitzer and Chris Fitzhugh transferred out of heat two while the final direct
transfers went to Rex Fisher, J.P. Simonsen and
Eli Price. Two semis taking the top two from
each added Troy Rose and Ryan Anderson from
the first and Shane Butchart and Charlie Brown
from the second to round out the field.
By winning the fastest Expert heat race, Stanley sat on the pole for the 12-rider, 2Q-Iap Expert
final. Stanley used it to his advantage by romping into the lead and never looking back.
Schnitzer, Annen, Simonsen, Kopp and Price did
all they could to keep Stanley' in sight, but their
efforts were in vain. Stanley hammered. out yet

COOS BAY, OR, SEPT. 3
Kawasaki Green was the-eolor of the motorcycle
that put a lot of gold in Shawn Roberti's pockets
during the road races at Coos Bay International
Speedway.
. Winning five straight Kawasaki contingency
races at the 1.1-mile track, the Dunlop-sponsored Roberti went away a happy guy. Roberti
left a few bucks for second-place finisher,
Kawasaki-mounted Mike Mitchell. Mike Dural
was unable to participate in Saturday's practice
but made a good showing finishing third in the
Open Supersport event on Sunday.
Ric Matthews powered his way to first in the
Lightweight Supersport event, while a real race
for last place developed between Rema Tillitt
and Phil Beck. The pair swapped slots for the
entire race with Beck making a last-lap pass on
Tillitt at the checkered flag.
