CA, AUG. 19 Rotax-mounted Bob Casey took wins in the Open B class as well as the Vet B class, while David Casey took the win and Danny Casey was second in the 80cc C class on a very warm night at the Lodi Cycle Bowl Short Track. The win for Casey in the Open B Main did not come easily, for he had to contend with Chris Marquis and Mike Gallaty, who were right on his rear tire for the entire race. On the last lap it looked as if Marquis was going to make the draft work for him, but he missed by inc.hes and had to settle for the second spot while Gallaty was third. . The Black Plate Expert race was small, but it was a bam burner. The win went to Swanson's Welding/Cycle Stop Honda's Danny Hart, with Mallo!'s Honda's Kevin Bricker giving it his best shot, trying the high line then the low in an allemptto make the pass. Nothing was working for him. Hart rode his own race en route to victory, never letting Bricker rattle his cage. Palm Gardens/Huff Cycles' Brandon Inderbitzen took the win in the 80cc B Main with Chad Ross laking second. Inderbitzen is going fast and i always a force to reckon with. The Weisler F;unily-sponsored Marty Weisle took a win in the Vintage C Main on a Yamaha 360. Aaron Oseo was second on a Kawasaki.
