were gi ven, and we te pessing them on to ~u. Keep
in mind, however, that the U.S. models may vary
"om the Japanese versions. U.S. SUzuki also
wouldn I release any inbrmalion about what changes
the bikes have undergone, so were breed to speculate. The new 49mm 9lowa conventional brks are
obvious, as is the new kame geometry and all·new
bodYNork. The motors seem to be diFJerent as well,
as the bore and stroke ofbolh machines are quite di~
~rent Itom the 95 models. Claimed dry weight is
down, and the seat height is up. alth machines hale
a longer wheelbase, most likely aimed at greater stabilityand better handling.
