Shawne Chamberlin Section nine was the only one on the loop to cause Peters any grief, and even then it wasn't much, as he only dropped one point. The section, consisting of three five-foot-diameter logs placed one and a half bike lengths apart, proved to be a challenge to all who rode it. Fanticmounted Mike Komer managed to card second with 42 points. The Advanced class saw Beta Techno rider. David M. Reed edge out Jim Fox for first place. Reed scored 45 points while Fox dropped a total of 57. Noah Leon took his Aprilia to the Noviceclass victory over Robert Schlaufman, also riding an Aprilia, by a score of 12 points to Schlaufman's 30. Aprilia-mounted Carl Peters returned to the winner's circle with a score of 19 points in the Senior A class. Section two proved to be a challenge for the Intermediate riders, featuring tight turns and a large hillclimb as well as a long descent back off the hill. George Parham pounds Crowder Pit Motocross By Mike Wllliems TALLAHASSE, FL, JULY 2 Eric Parham roosted his way to a narrow tiebreaker victory in the 125cc C class at the Tallahassee Trail Riders-promoted Crowder Pit MX. Parham motored his 125 to a 2-1 score, just edging out the Kawasaki of Chad Revell, who p ted a 1-2 score. Rounding out the top three was Honda-mounted Chuck Sapp. In the 2SOcc D class, Wendell Odom rode to a pair of second-place finishes t9 nail down the overall win, while first-moto winner Brent Dean carded a third-place finish in moto two to take the runner-up position. Daryl Maxwell pushed his Yamaha to third overall by way of a 5-1 showing. Tim Timmons made a succes ful return to racing after a twO-year layoff, turning a pair of holeshots aboard a very fast CR250 into a doublemoto sweep of the 35+ class. Parham returned to do battle in the 250cc C class, but this time the tie-breaker tables were . turned as his 1-2 score was beaten by John Mitchell's 2-1. Results P /W: 1. Cole Boutwell (Kaw): 2.
