Section nine was the only one on the loop to
cause Peters any grief, and even then it wasn't
much, as he only dropped one point. The section, consisting of three five-foot-diameter logs
placed one and a half bike lengths apart, proved
to be a challenge to all who rode it. Fanticmounted Mike Komer managed to card second
with 42 points.
The Advanced class saw Beta Techno rider.
David M. Reed edge out Jim Fox for first place.
Reed scored 45 points while Fox dropped a total
of 57.
Noah Leon took his Aprilia to the Noviceclass victory over Robert Schlaufman, also riding an Aprilia, by a score of 12 points to Schlaufman's 30.
Aprilia-mounted Carl Peters returned to the
winner's circle with a score of 19 points in the
Senior A class. Section two proved to be a challenge for the Intermediate riders, featuring tight
turns and a large hillclimb as well as a long
descent back off the hill.
Brian Kavanagh narrowly took the Noviceclass victory over James Sharer and his Beta by il
score of 13 points to Sharer's 17 points.
