"Yamasaki" with a 3.393. Bob Glenn took fourth
with a 3.74O-second run on his Yamaha.
. The SOOcc class, as always, featured fast
bikes and fast riders. This evening, however, it
was Stamm who picked up his first SOOcc-class
win in an outstanding 2.681--second run on his
"Forward Motion" CR500. The time would
stand up as fast time of the night- also a first for
Stamm. Andy Former put big-time pressure on
Stamm, however, turning in an excellent 2.687second effort for second place. Former would
ultimately ruin an otherwise perfect night for
Stamm by edging him out in the Open Exhibition 'money run.' Fortner is the current leader in
the 500cc class. Jason Northrup, only four points
behind Fortner in Ihe points race, carded a 2.797second time for third followed by John Scroggins' 2.906.
Stamm completed his clean sweep of the
three Amateur classes by' winning the 750cc
class in ~.842 seconds on his Kawasaki triple.
Richard Bell made his first 0-17 appearance in
1995 on his bad and beautiful Suzuki, claiming
second in 3.278 seconds. Walter Geralds piloted
his Kawasaki over the top in 3.477 seconds for
third, followed by Jim Hillard on his Harley in
3.499 seconds and Tom Compton on his
"Yamasaki" triple in 3.618 seconds.
