Milosauljer Motors to
victory at Starwest
By D8v1cl A. Procld8
MORENO VALLEY, CA,JULY 1S
The last time Danny Milosauljer appeared at the
Starwest SupercToss Park, he decimated the
competition, and this week, during round one of
the Shoo Helmet Giveaway Series, he repeated
the feat by running away with both motoS.
Milosauljer grabbed the lead in the first
moto, quickly speeding away from the pack in
which Jason Beck was holding back the charge
of Justin Gutierrez, Richard Wickham and the
remainder of the Beginner-class racers.
Moto two saw Wickham's Suzuki literally
jump out of the gale ahead of everyone and hold
onto the holeshot through the double-horseshoeshaped starting area.
On the second go-around, MiJosauijer used
the infield double-jump to catapult himself up
and over Wickham for the lead. On the first lap
alone, the Honda rider picked up four positions
as Gutierrez got tangled up with another rider
and went down. Once again, Milosauljer took
the lead and ran away from everyone. ,
The top five finishers were Milosauljer,
WiCkham. Maxwell, Jameson, and Gutierrez,
respectively.
On the Pee Wee track, Maxwell Pope, Washington and Steven Brewis swapped bragging
rights by each taking an overall in the SO« B
classes. fn the Stock B class, Chad Gores
grabbed the holeshot and held off Sean Coleman
for the entire race. In the second moto, Pope
grabbed the holeshot and never looked back.
In the Modified B class, Brewis took the
overall win.

Holst, Graves grab victories
By Eric Vincent
ROSAMOND,CA,jULY1~16
Chuck Graves rode to an easy victory in the
Toyota Gold Cup Formula One race during the
seventh round of Willow Springs Motorcycle
Club activities at Willow Springs International
Raceway.
It was Graves' second F·l victory in a row
and he dominated the race from the drop of the
starter's flag, talcing the holeshot off the line and
remaining uncha1lenged for the duration of the
race on his Suzuki GSXRl1 00.
Running second at the sta.rt was Curtis.
Adams followed by Frank Aragald, but as Aragald completed the first lap he came under pressure from Kent Kunitsugu, who drafted AragaJd
down the front straight, pulled around him, and
moved up into third.
Kunitsugu then began to close on Adams
and mount a challenge for second place. Kunilsugu passed Adams more than once, only to be
pushed back on the fast straights. At the line,
Graves took the win with Adams in second and
Kunitsugu third.
The first motorcycles off the line in the Formula Two race were those of Steve Teschke and
Lance Holst. However, by turn three a charging
Kunitsugu had threaded through the field and
moved into the lead Lance Holst moved into
second position, and then began to dose the gap
on Kunitsugu during the third lap.
As the leaders started lap four, Holst drafted .
and passed Kunitsugu to take over the lead. At
the finish, it was Holst with the win. followed by
Kunitsugu in second and Ointon Whitehouse in
third.
