I\'ood until Wood's Triumph develJped a minor oil leak.
It was all White again in the BEARS
race, although Fritz Kling put in a
strong second-place ride on a Hinds
Motorsports Triumph Speed Triple
sporting a Union Jack paint job. Pete
Johnson got past Geoff Mellinger for
third.
Capping the weekend's racing was
Kurt Liebmann's win aboard his Honda
CR750 in the Formula Vintage class.
WHITHER VMD?
The dates are already set for Vintage
Motorcycle Days 1996-July 19-21,
back at Mid-Ohio - and planning is
started.
"Next year is going to be bigger and
better," promised Truxal!. AHRMA
will add a natural-terrain vintage
motocross and perhaps an observed
trial to the competition schedule. Other
improvements on the organizers' wish
list include a bigger auction tent and
bleachers to accommodate more bidders and spectators, plus more aftermarket vendors and additional activities for road riders.
