Crevier after Crevier's ZX -6 developed a
misfire with about four laps to go.
'1 think I broke something revving it
too high. The ignition cut out. It started
going a little sour three or four laps
from the end. I knew I was in a bit of
trouble," Crevier said. "It wasn't look·
ing real promising. I had to work too
hard to get up front. It took too much
life out of the motor:'
Bowman was a safe sixth, with Miyagi seventh after passing Barnes on the
last lap. Pegram also earned his spot, a
ninth, with a last lap pass of WeicheL CN

said after getting passed on 'the last
lap of the HP4 600cc Supersport race by
teammate and race winner Miguel
DuHameL !'He didn't go fast when he
took the lead. The slowest lap of the race
was when he led it."
That would be the first time
DuHamel led it on the eighth lap. The
next time he led it was when he passed
Hale on the brakes in turn three on the
finalli:lP and stayed ahead to the checkered flag.
At the flag the margin was only .535
second, but it was enough to give
DuHamel his fourth 600cc Supersport
win in a row and fifth of the year, after a
close race that saw a pack of five riders
