from Brea, California, to capture the 400cc Modified class. Hirao captured the IT and ran second and third in the short track and half mile. Lonnie Wadle slipped by Hirao on the last lap to win the short track. John Belliel was the half-mile winner. Former AMA Pro-Expert, Canadian Royal Adderson defended his Senior 40+ year title by sweeping all three mains. Six-year-Qld Devin Wenz came all the way from Howard, South Dakota, to win the SOcc Junior title. A second to Sammy Hitchcock on the half mile was the only blemish on Wenrs record. The SOcc Senior class wins were split three ways, but Michigan's Wayne Dennis was the most consistent. The eightyear-old also chalked up two seconds. Taylor Knapp and George Baker ill also scored wins. illinois' Rob Pearson is the 6Scc Modified Champion, as the nine-year-old captured both the IT and the half mile. Logan Myers topped the short track. The 6Scc DTX ended in a tie. Michigan's Tom Link and Ohio's Charlie Hilla ended the week with identical one, two, three finishes. The results from the IT were used to break the tie of the two nine-year-olds. Link won the IT there by the overall. Italia topped the half mile, with Logan Myers back with another short-track win. Fifteen-year-old Dan Kauffman won the 125cc IT and, with a fourth and second, won the overall. Roger Lee Hayden won the half mile and Brian Shirley Jr. was the short-track victor, but it was not enough to stop the Michigan native Kauffman. It was another Michigan winner in the Senior 30+ class as Mike Babka Jr. repeated his 1994 performance. Bill Snyder took the IT with Pro-Am rider Brian Hewson winning the half mile. Babka topped the short track. Merlyn Wertz captured the Open Vintage class with wins on the short track and TT.
