Austrian sponsors," Corser said. "Fortunately, I had a better start than in the
first race, and the new chip in the electronic management system allowed the
engine to rev way up high. Pretty soon
in the race, I noticed where I could get
to the front. Once I got in front of Fogarty, I tried to keep up the pace:'
Gobert finished on the rostrum
again: "Things are definitely getting
better now. The only problem I had
was when I almost highsided on the oil
on the start and finish part. I had to
slow down, which allowed Aaron
(Slight) to stay just behind me:' said
Gobert. "And that was a guy I really
wanted to beat and I knew that I could
have him on the brakes:'

Slight finished fourth again. "We
changed the front and the rear suspension, so I had more feel, but the pushing was still bad. What is more, Anthony (Gobert) was faster on the straight,
so I never could get past him:' said

have caught up with Fogarty and Cors-
er."
Ed wards retired ·after six terrible
laps. "First of all, MekIau went down
