Swean y and Turner. D.j. Sweany was firstto make a move, getting around Shcpand on the first lap . A few turns later Aleman pu shed Shepard back to fift h as he ca me blazi ng u p from a mid-pack start. Two battles developed on the track, one for the lead betw een Brian Swea ny and jenkins, and a not he r over thir d be tween D.l . Swe a ny a nd Alema n. who were a few seco nds back. Brian Sweany mana ged to hold on to the lead to to p the race-long battl e, but it was the Scotts Performance/ Axo / RenthaIl N-Style/ Dog Tag-backed jenkins that won the war by finishin g in sec o nd p la ce to take the ov er all wi n . Kloeppel took adva ntage of terrific starts to wi thsta nd hea vy pressure in the fonn of Chad Coope r and a hard -cha rging Nick Silandi. Cooper earned runner-up finishes after crashing late , in both w hile cha llenging for the lea d. Siladri held stead y for third ove rall.
