Bateman joined the leaders, making it a threerider fight .
As Up ton too k the wh ite flag sign a ling the
last lap, everyone pi cked up the pace a notch
incl uding Pocor obba, who closed the gap a little
o n Upton . But Up to n wa s guarding th e good
line and too k the checkered flag firs t for the win.
Pocorobba was second and Bateman was third . .
In moto two , Pocorobba and Upt on picked
up w he re they had left o ff in moto o ne. This
time. both ride rs were bumping and shoving as
they entered the main track. Upt on had his fill of
be ing pushed and elbowed and hit the after burners to pull awa y from Pocorobba .
Upton had pulled out a ll the stops and was
gu arding his lead, yet took the white flag with
Pocorobba almost hanging onto his rear fender.
The two mad e contact in the last come r before
the grandsta nd s wi th Upton barely holding onto
the lead and charging all the way to the check ered for the overall win , with Pocorob ba righ t
behind him for second overall.
