IIIMY OWN RACE:
1 CAMERON BEAUBIER
1-1 SUPERBIKE
"I'd say I got a li le lucky in that race,"
Cameron Beaubier said a er race two. "Jake
[Gagne] has been improving all weekend,
and same with Ma y [Scholtz]. Lining up
today a er how fast he (Gagne) was in
warmup, I knew it was going to be pre y
tough. At the start of the race, I put my head
down and got a good start, which I'm really
happy about because I've struggled with
starts pre y bad in the past, and this year
it's been going really good. I saw 0.5 on my
board, lap a er lap a er lap. I'm like, 'man.
Jake is riding really good.' I missed a shi
and kind of almost put my face through the
windshield with maybe 11 to go, something
like that. I knew he had probably stuck on
me pre y good. I came by, and I saw plus
two seconds gap. I was like, 'oh man. Maybe
he ran off or something like that.' Turns out
it was a li le clutch issue, which is a bummer
for him because I knew it was going to be a
pre y tough end to the race."
Finally, the Stock 1000 boys had
two races with Cameron Petersen
(Altus Motorsports Suzuki) taking
both race wins from Alex Dumas
(M4 Ecstar Suzuki) and round three
winner Corey Alexander (Ride
HVMC Racing Kawasaki). Alexan-
der would improve to second in
race two with Travis Wyman (Travis
Wyman Racing BMW) taking his
first podium of the year in third.
Petersen leads the Stock 1000
standings at 115 to Alexander's 112
and Dumas' 91.

97 ROCCO LANDERS
1 TWINS CUP
"Perfect weekend here," Rocco Landers said.
"I think I was top in every session this week-
end. I was able to do that in Junior Cup, as
well. Definitely leaving on a higher note to get
back to Europe next weekend. Biggest shout-
out goes to SportbikeTrackGear.com, Brian
and Max Van. I wouldn't be here without
them. I'd like to thank them all for the first
four podiums. I'm super grateful to them."
Mathew Scholtz (11) made
another step forward in
Pittsburgh, sealing two
second-place finishes, his
best so far in 2020. He's
looking more and more
comfortable at the front,
as the Suzukis of Toni
Elias (24) and Bobby Fong
(50) continue to struggle.
Fong had a massive crash
in race one, injuring his
wrist and forcing him to
pull out halfway through
race two.
