A
nother week, another double victory for Mon-
ster Energy Attack Performance Yamaha rider
Cameron Beaubier, this time in the scenic green
of the Pittsburgh International Race Complex.
Beaubier didn't quite crush the field like in previous
encounters, run very close in Superpole by Mathew
Scholtz (Westby Racing Yamaha) by just 0.053 of a
second, but he made up for it with two controlled yet
convincing victories, besting Scholtz and teammate
Jake Gagne on both occasions.
The weekend was a good one for Scholtz and the
Westby team, two second places ahead of the sec-
ond Monster Energy Attack Performance Yamaha of
Gagne signaling the South African is now a permanent
podium contender. His performances have cemented
third in the series as Yamaha riders raid the 2020
championship. Beaubier sits clear at 175 from Gagne's
138, Scholtz third at 116. Kyle Wyman (OneCure/KWR
Ducati Team) moved up to fourth at 89 courtesy of
fourth- and sixth-place finishes, with Bobby Fong (M4
Ecstar Suzuki) rounding out the top five.
