the track and being on the only 125cc motorcycle. Myers grabbed the holeshot ahead of local s Sean Naslund and Anthony Whipple. By lap two, both Healey and McConnick had moved up to third and fourth and were beginning to pressure Naslund . Shortly thereafter, Naslund was running fourth, as Healey began setting his sig h ts on the leader Myers. As the race progressed, Healey reeled in Myers and eventually passed him for the lead, as did McCormick for second. Myers held on for third ah ead of Chad Smanjak, Naslund and Tracey Asher. Afterward, McCormick's Honda was found to have a fuel violation that disq ualified him from competitio n a lthough no exact reason was given , meaning all riders behind him mo ved up o ne position and McCormick was left out of the evening's main. After his hea t race win Lewis was confident he would be able to take his thi rd s trai ght w in, as well as possibly jump a triple jump that looked next to im possible to clea r. As the 20 riders lined up for the main it was Mike Ulrich and Whipple on row one, with Birdwell and Brian Downing on row two. Crumb, Myers, Smail, Lewis and Healey sat well bac k in rows seven, eight and nine, . alt hough the width of the track would allow them a clear path to the front if they played their cards right. Ulrich started things off with a bang in the main, leading, until the first jump produced a spectacular endo that effectively ended hi s evening and left Ty Bird well with the lead, ahead of Hilton, Peters, Whipple and Cru mb. Bird well looked great for the first lap until he followed Uric h's lead with a crash of his own at the end of the second lap, which e nded his ni gh t prematurely. At the start of lap two, Crumb and Lewis were now ba ttling for the lead spot and by lap three Lewis had put a great move on Crumb's Honda to take over the lead, a le ad that he would never give up . Beh ind hi m th e re was some serious po sition swa ppi ng going on that wo uld la s t u n til the ch eck e re d ca me o ut. Cru mb, Hilton , Myers, Smail, Holla nd, Healey and Pocorobba all jockeyed for positi on with Hilton going a t it firs t with Mye rs, then Sm a il, and finally Healey. Myers moved up the ladder and eventually into second after finally passing Crumb at the halfway point. From there, Myers rode hard and held on for second after putting in a great ride. The fina l three laps saw Smail and his buddy Healey engaged in a heated duel that left both riders on the d irt with only on e corn er remaining. The crash relegated Smail to the 10th sp ot, while Healey managed to regroup quickl y. Po corobba took ad vantage of the Healey I Smail altercation and se tt led into third at the finish line, while Healey hung on to fourth. Fresno, California's Rusty Holland rode well for fifth. Norton, Crumb, Hilton, Swanjak and Smail rounded out the top 10. ~ Seattle Klngdome Seattle , Wash ingt on Resul ts : March 18, 1995 1. Ky le Lew is (Ya m ); 2. Sco tt Myers (Yam ); 3.
