Kady schools veterans at Glen Helen Motocross By Robert Van Damme SAN BERNARDIN CA. Ward had stret ched his lead to about five seco nds , but he looked over his shoulder coming into the grand stand section and saw the hard-chargin g Kad y approaching. Kady whittled away at Ward's advantage, wh ich took about two la p s . Then, at the "can yon" part the course, Kady laid claim to the lead . Myerscough also made a big push toward the en d and passed a tired Ward. The checkered flag dropped with Kady first; followed by Myerscough, Ward, Rotan and Tim Sharp. Th e se co n d m ota brought a su r prise to everyone except one person, Sharp, who pulled the holesh ot. He was followed closely by Kady, Jeff Fin e, Chris Rad zin ski and Rotan. Myerscough go~ hung up in the sta rting gate and Ward got pinched off down th e sta rt straigh t; both had to come from the back. !Cady used the same "can yon" section to get around Sharp for the lead. From there it was a challenge to see if the res t of the competition cou ld keep the Pro Circuit /MSR/Maxim a /GTI-sp on sored Kad y in sight.
