TEAM TOYOTA KICKS OFF 1995 WITH A VICTORY
Toyota and PPJ took first in the season opening
SCORE Desert Series Trophy Truck race in Parker ,
Arizona Saturday,January 28.
Driving his Toyota that's powered by a TRD-prepared 3.5-liter V6 engine, Ivan "Iron ma n" Stewart
started 14th and faced th e largest field in two years,
V8s and VIOs with twice the horsepower.
Even so, he dished out a lethal dose of determination
bolstered by seamless pit stops by PPJ, and took the .
lead at the halfway point.
No doubt, this victory had the competition kicking
them selves all the way home.
