The tw o rid er s swa p pe d posi tions num e rous times with Brunson ha ving the advantage at the whi te flag and barely hold ing off Ferro on a blistering final lap. Friday' s 250cc main eve nt was destined to be every bit as exciting as the 125s when Jason Upshaw led off th e gate with Gaddis stea ling th e lead in tum one. Cooper sho t up the middle to take seco nd by the start of whoop section , and then charged Gaddis. Coo per es tablishe d the lead by the en d of lap three with Gaddis firm ly in secon d, as a ra ce for third e ns ued between Cha d Pederson, Upshaw, Sha wn Morga n, and Gra yson Goodman.
